Gents,

Would appreciate any good Sid Gilman links this week. Will be researching Gillman and his passing strategy. Mr. Tobias, you wrote a paper on him; is it online? Would appreciate any links on Gilman!

Cheers,
Mick

Mick-

Unfortunately the paper is not online. However, one of my interviews with Sid and his wife are on this site. Take a look under the "AFL Interviews" tab near the top of the page. Thanks! Todd

Todd - how the hell are you? I was seething today. You will appreciate this: I got a copy of the 2016 "first" published Jewish calendar by Ralphs featuring Jewish Athletic Legends. Humming through the months, got all the way to January, NO SID GILLMAN. Sorry, but I was astounded. The shock wore off a little when I realized they omitted Sandy Koufax and Mark Spitz. You better believe I called them. I mean, I guess no big deal. But whoever is running that project is not up to the task. Nor are they at the National Museum of American Jewish History. They have him buried in that area where you have to sit, press buttons and search. I guess nobody there understands his genius and contribution to the game of football either. That's what daughters and sons are for! Hope all is well with you and yours
