This is a really tough question, as there were so many great ones. Wahoo, Ben Davidson, Cookie, Harry Wismer, Namath... I think my two favorites are Cookie and Big Ben. What about you?

My first choice is Wahoo McDaniel. A legit tough guy, great all around athlete, and the only player I know who had his first name on the back of his jersey.

"You know who made the tackle." WAHOO!

I also agree that Cookie Gilcrest and Big Ben Davidson have to be up there as well as Ernie Ladd.

Wahoo is a great one as well. How about a little-known back by the name of Hezekiah Ezekiel Braxton III?

What a great name. Though, I do not know much about this former Charger RB.

Hank Stram. Joe Namath a close second. Joe was a better predictor, Hank better at making up words.

Oh yes ... "The Bear Cat", Ernie Ladd. But I must say, as a Charger fan, and having to see this defensive great twice a year give havoc to my Chargers, "Big Ben" Davidson and his handlebar mustache was an eye catcher from the get go.

Not my first choice, but deserves to be on the list is Fred Williamson. Bright guy that had a successful career in Hollywood
