Buster Ramsey was the first head coach of the Buffalo Bills, and by most accounts, quite a character.  A true mountain man from Eastern Tennessee, Ramsey was known as a hard-nosed player-turned-coach, who loved his football and his moonshine.

Buster Ramsey passed away in September, 2007, at the ripe old age of 87.  Two years later, in conjunction with the AFL’s 50th Anniversary, Buster’s grandson posted a great biography on his AFL legend grandfather.  The story is titled, East Tennessee and Western New York?
