For the past three years I have been writing Tales from the American Football League.  Together, readers and I have enjoyed more than 700 AFL posts, and argued the league’s greatest teams, players, uniforms and trading cards.

I built this website because of my desire to edutain (educate + entertain) readers with stories of my favorite professional sports league, but also so that I could share the many autographed AFL cards that I had collected over the years.

I recently added a new page to the MEMORABILIA section of the website, which discusses in-depth my autographed AFL cards.  This collection, which I began in 1998 but took off in earnest in 2006, is the pride of my 35+ years in the sports memorabilia hobby.  Some of the cards I’ve bought, others I’ve sent out in the mail, and a handful have been acquired in more interesting ways.  These are the stories that I’ve detailed in the Tales from the American Football League Autographed Card Collection.

I encourage you all to click on the link and read the stories.  They were a pleasure to recall, and I am proud to be able to share them.  After you read the story, take a moment to flip through my autographed cards sets in the MEMORABILIA section of the site.  If you collected these cards as a kid, they will bring back fond memories.  If you played in the AFL, they will remind you of teammates and opponents of days past.  And if you are like me, and not old enough to have your own AFL memories, they will still be fun to scroll through.

Thank you for your time, and I hope that you enjoy the Tales from the American Football League Autographed Card Collection.
