The Chargers need to go back to these very same uniforms, with these colors and the classic Collegiate font numbers…not the funky pseudo-font they use today.
And return the numbers to the San Diego helmets, too. They were added by five of eight original AFL teams in combination with the surnames on the jerseys to aid in player ID, and it does help…I’ve spotted for NFL TV games, and any aid you can get to identify players in the huge pileups on most plays helps!
