Though much better known as a hardnosed fullback for the Chicago Bears of the 1950s and 1960s, Rick Casares’s last six games were played for the 1966 Miami Dolphins. Casares died in his sleep on Friday, September 13. A full obituary can be found HERE.

I remember watching him play when I was a kid. Hard nosed guy who was no frills but effective as an inside runner.
