A man known for having one of the more legendary names in AFL history has passed away. Hezekiah Ezekiel Braxton III was a Chargers running back in 1962. Braxton passed away on August 8; he was 79 years old. An obituary can be found HERE.

I remember watching Hezekiah with the Chargers. What a great name! Looking at the photo, its interesting that many photos of players were taken during pregame warm-ups. I was probably seated in the shade in the cheap seats of the north end zone of Balboa Stadium. Thanks for letting us know about Hezekiah.
