Contemporary NFL games have a whole host of statisticians, numbers crunchers, computer gurus and probably input flunkies that chart every play that occurs during a game.  Detailed charts are made and in-depth statistics are soon made available to every member of the media, but as well to the general public via the internet.  Things have not always been so complex, nor information so immediate.  Game summaries used to be compiled, copied on old mimeograph machines, then distributed by hand or mail to those who were in need of such information.  I have been fortunate to acquire a handful of these original summaries.  Below you will find the complete package that was put together for the 1963 AFL championship game between the San Diego Chargers and Boston Patriots.  Here it is, in black and white.

And yes, Keith Lincoln really was unstoppable on that day…
