Happiness Haircuts

I’m really beginning to appreciate yearbooks as sources of great stories and information.  I just wish that more AFL teams had produced them.

This piece comes from the 1969 Buffalo Bills Annual, and is kind of interesting in-light of the bullying situation that has been exposed in Miami this season.  Apparently the Buffalo Bills did not haze their rookies beyond giving them ugly haircuts.  Might that be enough to lead to an inquiry by the commissioner these days?

  2. I remember taking those photos like it was yesterday. The hair cuts were a right of passage that every rookie waited for.
